3 ounces shallots dry pakaged
2/3 cup red wine
12 ounces Kitchen Basics Beef Stock
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
chives and pepper to taste
Mix marinade well. Rinse beef and place in an enclosed bag with marinade for one hour (overnight for more flavor) in refrigerator. Grill or roast beef using marinade as a baste.
Kitchen Basics Cooking Stocks add moisture and flavor in roasting any beef. Just pour 12 oz. beef stock (one small carton) on meat before cooking.
